Covid 19 Policy

The government has announced that we are deemed essential retail and allowed to be open to the public, as long as we introduce social distancing and other measures in accordance with the pandemic guidelines. We welcome this decision as safety of our staff and customers is paramount.

Signage for 2 metre distancing will be introduced as well as a partial one way system. We will only let a certain number of customers into the nursery at any one time, so please expect to queue, or to be turned away if the car park is full.

Ideally we would ask you to come alone as numbers allowed in the nursery will be limited, but a maximum of 2 people from the same household will be permitted per trolley.

A plastic shield will be installed at the till and hand gel will be available when using the card machine. However, where possible please bring your own disposable gloves and hand sanitiser.

In line with a number of other retailers we will not have toilet facilities for our customers so please bear this in mind when planning a visit.

We understand that customers wish to browse when visiting the nursery which is all part of the plant shopping experience and creating a “shopping list” is not that simple. However we ask that you use your own judgement as to how long you spend in the nursery, but please bear in mind that there is likely to be a number of customers wishing to get in and we will try to supply and serve as many customers, as quickly and as safely as possible.

We will not be able to assist with loading of compost into trolleys or cars and will not offer a packing service or boxes at the till so please keep this in mind when visiting.

Guide/assistance dogs are still permitted however we do not allow other dogs into the nursery.
